The only thing I could say is to have a few chairs to sit on whilst waiting for the doors to be opened at seven o'clock and to advise not to go than the main entrance.

There hand over and still would not see him, even after telling them his temp was 40.2 I was in the night before for 8 hours and left this morning around 4 finally seen main doctors was very good.

Suggested improvements
They did not take into consideration his age, previous infection and 2nd time back in 1 day. Every child should have there. Temp check regularly once waiting given medicare if needed worst experience from Queens. As a mum that has had 2/3 hours sleep and temp 40. So nobody reassured me, just told me I had to wait like everybody else this has made me feel ill the stress and worry when nobody helped and made him wait!

I attended the hospital for my mum were an my mum - an elderly woman was waiting 24 hours to be seen. I feel the care she needed to look at her was overlooked and was left to wait for my mum to get to a worse condition. She has first stage kidney disease and dehydrated and wasn’t given IV till she attended a and e 4 times and during the 4th time it took her gp surgery to call the hospital to state my mums condition and only at this point was taken seriously.

Suggested improvements
I feel patients need to be treated with the care they need and not wait 4 attempts to identity what the problem is.

I went to a&e at 11.30 pm as I had horrendous back pain. I was left with no pian relief despite asking numerous times and when I asked I was told to wait Overall I spent over 14 hours before I was eventually seen at 2pm,by a doctor cx who sent me for a CT scan which showed I had numerous kidney stones!!! Then at 2.45pm over 14 hours later, I was given a few painkillers and told I could go home, no advice, no help nothing!!!! It was only once I went home and contacted my own doctor that I was told King Geotge has a Urology clinic and even my doctor was appalled that they didn’t even refer me or offer any help!! I’m utterly disgusted and hope my complaint is taken seriously as I’m a 60 year old woman, who’s worked and paid my NI all my life, who was ignored and disrespected by being left for 12-14 hours with nothing but dismissive behaviour when I was in utter agony, as anyone knows Kidney stones are a honey and I have numerous!!!!

Actually treat patients earlier than 14 bloody hours especially those in agony.

It's very very sad being in pain and wait for 5 + hours! It was my third time experiencing such pain!! Emergency department needs more staff!!!

Please we request for more staff and quicker service at the emergency department.
